Richard Slater: Richard started installing carpet in Florida at the age of 15, helping at his Uncle's store. He continued installing carpet for over 20 years, moving after awhile back to Jasper, GA where he had grown up. In 1992, he started working for himself, showing carpet samples out of the trunk of his car. He opened his first store in 1998, which expanded in 2004. Now, in 2010, with over 30 years experience, he opened the doors to Slater Discount Floors.

Jamie Totherow: Jamie has been working for Richard since 2004 as the Office Manager. If you get work done by us, chances are that you will speak with Jamie at least once. She is the heart of Slater Discount Floors. She has two wonderful sons named Levi and Dawson.

Amy Totherow: Amy has been working for Richard since 2007 as our Accounts Payable. If Jamie is the heart of Slater Discount Floors, then Amy is definitely the brains. She deals with a lot of the behind the scenes work that helps keep us a well oiled machine. Amy has three beautiful daughters named Somer, Jen, and Lexi.

Sasha Kampmeier: Sasha has been working for Richard since 2009 as our Accounts Receivable and Advertising. She is one of Richards three daughters. She has been married since 2007 to John, the Drywall Installer.

Stan Walden: Stan has been working for Richard since 1998 as our Hardwood Installer, Sander, and Refinisher. He has been working for Richard longer than any other installer. He has been sanding and refinishing hardwood floors since 1993. He has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. 

Dustin Eggley: Dustin has been working for Richard since 2005 as our Hardwood, VCT, and Laminate Installer. He is also our Electrician. He has been installing hardwood since 2006 and has been doing electrical work for over 6 years. Dustin has been married since 2003 to Melanie, Richard's oldest daughter. Dustin and Melanie have two children: a daughter, Brianna, and a son, Austin.

John Hall: John has been working for Richard since 2005 as our Tile Installer. He has been doing tile work for over 20 years. He has been married since 1994 to April, Dustin Eggley's sister. John and April have two children: a son, Trenton, and a daughter, Kendall.

Aaron Key: Aaron has been working for Richard since 2007 as our Tile Installer. He has been doing tile work for over 10 years. He has been married since 2007 to Alana.

Keith Totherow: Keith has been working for Richard since 2010 as our Carpet and Vinyl Installer. He has been doing carpet work for over 15 years. Before Richard owned his own store, Keith worked with him installing carpet for over 5 years.

Larisa Meffert: Larisa has been working for Richard since 2004 as our Painter. She has been painting since 2000. Larsia has been married since 1996 to Jeremy.

John Kampmeier: John has been working for Richard since 2006 as Larisa's Painting Helper and since 2008 as our Drywall Installer and Finisher. He has been doing drywall work since 2003. John has been married since 2007 to Sasha, Richard's second daughter and office employee.
